contact has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 by DEKRA for the development, manufacture and distribution of hand-labelling devices, labels, labelling systems and sales promotion articles.

The recertification of the DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 system took place most recently, with simultaneous conversion to the new standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.

Excellent environmental protection – FSC^® certification

The protection of the environment and sustainable production are important to us. For this reason, you will receive FSC labels from contact. Paper and cardboard labels with this seal guarantee that only wood and paper materials from sustainable forestry have been used in production.

The environmental organisation “Forest Stewardship Council” (FSC) is committed to the sustainable and responsible use of forests. To this end, it provides companies with standards and checks their implementation through independent certification bodies.

FSC-certified labels from contact guarantee that from the purchase of the raw material wood, to the production of the paper, up to the processing of the label only materials which meet the strict specifications of the organisation were used.

Three decades ago, everything started in a small garage in Hirschhorn (Neckar). The family business contact labelling systems was founded in 1982 by Klaus-Dieter Hermann. At that time, hand labelling devices and the corresponding labels were produced by three employees. Today, contact has more than 100 employees and, in the sectors for hand-labelling devices, labels, label printers and labelling equipment, is firmly established on the worldwide market for labels for marking and labelling. The extensive product portfolio has recently been supplemented by professional retail merchandising products under the brand promoflex.
