Nameplate labels are mostly used in the technical area for the permanent and unambiguous identification of products, for example, as a device type plate or test badge.
Thanks to state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, contact nameplate labels are characterised by a high degree of resistance to chemical, mechanical and physical influences. The labels are made of high quality PET. This makes them tear-resistant and resistant to extreme temperatures, UV light as well as oil, dirt and water.
In order for the processor to allow individual post-inscription, – e.g. Date of manufacture, model number, serial number or various designs, different equipment is needed for the respective printing processes. A bar code or data matrix can also be integrated for a specific device identification.
